Meet nameless: (too many suggestions and opinions in this family!)
It's so fun to have a playful puppy join our crowd...
We were feeling a little stagnant... all our animals and kids seem to be getting too old and boring. ;)
Donna's 3rd birthday also had us (especially Mom) feeling very maternal. :)
She resorted to what she used to always do before she got married: get a new pet!
She is an English Shepherd.
Molly wasn't too thrilled at first, but she's now getting used to her rowdy new roommate.
She's settled into our loud, busy household faster and better than we were ever expecting.
She seemed to catch on pretty fast, that all these people were going to spoil her, dote on her, feed her and play with her whenever she wants. It seemed like a fun realization for her! And all this space, and these interesting animals and stuff to do and smell... she really seems to have no homesickness whatsoever and couldn't be more playful and happy!
She seems like she's going to be a good fit with our family. We're all really happy with her and love her to pieces and she seems to like us a fare bit too. :)
Sacha (or Sasha, however you spell it) She just looks like a Sacha to me. =D New pets are such fun!
ReplyDeleteHow about trying this, get all the potential names and everybody picks the one or two they like best. take the top 1/2 of those and everybody picks again, maybe only picking 1 name thie second round, keep going this way until you are left with only 2 names. then everybody votes again.
ReplyDeleteHave you read the Rangers Apprentice series?
ReplyDeleteYour dog reminds me of the one described in the series.
How about Ebony or Shadow? Although, my mom says "Oreo"...lol
Good Luck!!!!

@ Tapp Family--
ReplyDeleteHey girls! So glad you people decided to come around and introduced yourselves! :)
YES! We love the Rangers Apprentice series and someone actually mentioned that she's black and white like Will's dog Ebony... Half the kids couldn't pronounce it though, so that suggestion didn't fly! LOL!!
Nice to 'meet' you! Hope to see you guys around a lot!! :D

we got a new puppy Wednesday night too! Brandy died on Thanksgiving and we were really missing that doggy in the house. She's a 3 month old cocker and we called her cocoa - coke, cokester, cokomo, cokonuts...ya know, whatever moves us! Good luck with your new doggy. A. Mar
ReplyDeleteShe is such a cute puppy! Naming an animal is hard when you have a big family, we have had the same issue :)
ReplyDeleteI like unusual names such as Wisteria(Wisty for short), Ariah, Ellia, Eloyn, Jesca, Alisk, Clover, Cara, Layla, Xylia, Buttercup, Daisy, and Rasha.
How cute!!! :) Kinda looks like a Molly to me... lol
ReplyDeleteShe is adorable!!! ;) Can't wait to hear what you name her!
In Him,
Mikailah~
What an adorable puppy!!! I can't wait to hear what you name her! She looks like a Shadow, Misty, Whisper, or Heather to me. I love her pretty heart-shaped face! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove in Christ,
Vicki

Oreo is cute! Or Shasta.
ReplyDeleteDarby....
ReplyDeleteWell in England we would call her a border collie, rather than an English shepherd. Sheep dogs in England are often given one syllable names, to make it easier to call them when they are working. So something like Bess would be nice, traditional, and English too.
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of the new puppy. I had an English Shepherd as a teenager. Best. Dog. Ever.
