Some of the ways I find joy are small and seemingly insignificant. I marvel at how a simple compliment, pretty skies, a goofy sibling, a good smell, even a nice thought can be enough to change a person's mood. Cruising through the boys' latest pictures, I found in a few something small, something simple that makes me happy... so, strictly from the boys' last two uploads, let me share these too-often-unnoticed-and-yet-wonderful things with you.
First and foremost, my Donna girl.. my number one joy!! I live for her sweet voice and her random hugs and kisses.

I find joy in Mary's crocuses..
I love our creeks.. something about the steadily running body of water relaxes me like nothing else can, at times.
I find joy in our home-made house, our wonderful front porch, our hanging laundry, random chickens.. pretty much everything in this picture.
I love that our peach trees are budding abundantly!
I find joy in Stephen and Michael's creativity in their photography..
I find joy in our dirt road and the frequent walks taken up and down.
I find joy in Puff (better known as 'Puffers'), our beautiful Siamese cat, and all our lovely kitties..
I find joy in our cute ponies and how much the kids enjoy their rides..
I find joy in how much Donnie adores her newly-discovered (yet it's been in our family for as long as I can remember) old red wagon..
And I find incredible joy in our amazing skies!
...oh, and I find joy in this adorable picture of my lovely!! :)
Wonderful pictures, Mary, especially of Donna!! She looks so happy and sweet - I love her in the red wagon! Isn't it amazing how something so simple makes a little one so happy? I agree with you - the simple things really are the best after all!
